Use OpenStreetmap for maps (even allow the user to choose from list of map services)

I think it would be nicer to use the open OpenStreetmap project. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: if you click on "display on map" ... Actual Results: your are lead to Google Maps Expected Results: Land at OpenStreetMap based project. Maybe OSM is not yet at the point where it makes sense to link to it, but I wanted to create that feature request to track the progress to get there. What is missing to use it?
